![]() These are the stats we trackīlocks – Been Blocked - Assists - Stunned/Ko - Been Stunned/KO - Injuries Caused - Kills – Been Injured – Fouls - Touch Downs - Passes - Catches – Catching TD - MVP - SPP-Ī lot of work but I enjoy records and we enjoy having it all documented. And they hand them in to me and I update them on the Word Document that I have devoted for each teams players. The Winchester Eagles VS The Stunty Trolls 1-0 The Rune Hammers 0-0-1 Etc.įor the games each coach keeps track of the player stats like Number of blocks, TD Scored, Catches, SPP. I then have another Word Doc with each team in the league and their records vs each other. Winchester Eagles 3pts The Run Hammers - 1Pts The Stunty Trolls 0 Pts The Stunty Trolls (Coach John Doe) Vs The Winchester Eagles (Coach Bob Doe) Winner Winchester Eagles 2-0 Group pts - Winchester Eagles - 3pts The Stunty Trolls - 0PTSĪt the bottom of the Schedule I keep a list of the teams and their league points. Scoring 3 Casualties, though, with nothing but Horns to. Then type in who is playing and the results of the win pts earned etc. Scoring 2 TDs takes no particular skill other than actually managing to roll a 3 to pick up the ball. I use a Word Document for my scheduled games. Unfortunately, I’ve found that the static grass interferes with this a bit, so it isn’t perfect.I keep it simple as to what I use but complicated for how I do it lol. This allows me to click the ball on the model that’s carrying it. Another thing I did was put small magnets in each base, and a piece of metal in each of my balls. Bases were done in a classic 80s/ 90s Goblin Green. This was fine, as I hardly ever paint blue, so it was a nice change. The pitch is divided into three six-square zones, plus two one-square endzones lengthwise, for a total pitch size of 20 squares long by 11 squares wide. I painted these using the ‘How to paint’ leaflet that came with the box, which meant they became Reikland Reavers. As part of the slimming down of ‘normal’ Blood Bowl, BB7s matches are made up of two 6-turn halves, rather than the normal 8-turn halves. Two blitzers, two catchers, two throwers and eight linemen (the set came with six, so I must have picked up two more somewhere along the way). This is one of the two teams that came with the third edition starter set. A skill-progression system exists so you can grow and improve your team after games, allowing you to play larger leagues. Then there are the funny side effects like the fans invading the pitch, goblins on pogo sticks, etc. A lot of teams (like my Dwarfs) are of the opinion that the easiest way to get across the field is putting all opposing players in the hospital first. However, this being Warhammer from the 80s, a large amount of wackiness and violence is involved. ![]() Both players take control of a team, and the ultimate goal is to score more touchdowns than the enemy. About Blood Bowlįor those who don’t know, Blood Bowl is a two-player boardgame version of Rugby (sort-of). There is a good reference card and the teams are quite straightforward and evenly matched. But I also have the two teams that came with the third edition starter set (Humans and Orcs), which I use when I demonstrate the game to people. This makes them typically serve one of two roles. Werewolves have access to general, and agility skills on any level roll. This means your strongest players will be able to get block as soon as they hit level 2. More skilled or more powerful coaches will cost more, with something like a terrifying Rat-Ogre coming in at 150,000 gp. That seems like a lot, but linemen, the basic coach for each team, usually cost around 50,000 gp. Each coach gets 1,000,000 gp to build their team. Flesh golems can pick up general skills on any level roll. Teams are built with gold pieces (gp), which are Blood Bowl’s analog to points. ![]() Necro has flesh golems and werewolves whereas Undead has mummies. I own three teams: My own primary teams is Dwarfs. Both teams have zombies, skeletons, wights, and ghouls. Another one of the old Specialist Games I’m a big fan of is Blood Bowl.
